I thought this would be a great time to give a few small tips for moving into your newly built home.
These tips are just a small sample. Please contact me for more info or advice.

I also do full snag lists for clients. This is a full day site visit to ensure nothing is missed.

Moving in:
Get your electricians and plumbers to commission everything before you move in.
Ensure all the snags on your snag list are completed as some of these things are hard to finish once you have moved in.
Make sure you understand how to operate your heating and ventilation systems.
If possible, get a cleaning company to give a good clean or you will be dealing with dust for a long time. Get a spare key cut and hide it somewhere outside. Lots of people get locked out at this stage because they haven’t gotten into a habit of where to leave keys etc.
Contact your insurance company and change your building insurance to home insurance.
Double check that fire alarms are commissioned and working.

Finally, don’t forget to relax and enjoy your first night in your beautiful new home that you worked so hard for. You deserve it…….
